Raised on legends like Creedence, Bryan Adams, Cold Chisel and Lee
Kernaghan; Peter Chapman is a Brisbane-based Country Music artist
who likes telling stories and having a damn good time in the process.
Since 2003, Chappo has performed around Eastern Australia playing
pub covers from Cairns to Healesville and everywhere in between.
He has also toured Western Queensland on three occasions where
he swam with crocs in Adels Grove, performed from the bar top in
Quilpie, played at the famous Birdsville races and the Birdsville pub
and even laced up the gloves for a few rounds in the World Famous
Fred Brophey Boxing Tent.
Chappo has travelled abroad to write and play his songs in Indonesia,
Los Angeles, Nashville and Memphis Tennessee.
In 2019, Chappo started writing and recording his first commercial
release, ‘My First Rodeo’ which was released in February 2022; and
also saw the release of his first single ‘Every Friday Night’.
Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley took Chappo on the road for
21 dates throughout NSW and Queensland in March and April of
2022.
Just a few months later, Chappo opened for the legendary Dragon in
Wynnum, Queensland.
2023 started with Chappo playing seven gigs at the Tamworth
Country Music Festival and at The Stock Route Country Music
Festival.
Chappo loves a good time and that’s exactly what he wants to share
with his audience every time he walks on stage.
